Saawaan is a fine dining Thai restaurant located in the heart of Bangkok. Set in a converted shop house in a leafy alley off Sathorn Road, the restaurant features a 24-seat dining area. Dark walls, colourful wallpaper and dark wooden floors make for a dramatic backdrop.
Chef de cuisine and owner Sujira ‘Aom’ Pongmorn serves a seasonal 10-course tasting menu with each dish representing a technique or concept commonly found in traditional Thai cooking, such as grilling, steaming, stir-frying and fermentation. Using local ingredients sourced from all over Thailand, Aom creates innovative dishes with respect for the produce and Thai culinary heritage.
Saawaan offers a wine pairing menu as well as a tea pairing menu.
